Fran C. Poppell

As a Tallahassee native, Fran knows the perfect location for your wedding, whether you’re looking for a traditional or unique site. With more than 20 years’ experience providing bridal consultation and directing weddings and conventions, she can provide the level of assistance and guidance you need to make your day most special. For over a decade, she organized and was responsible for the success of numerous meetings and conventions on the government level as well as private social events. Fran’s extensive experience has earned her the designation of Consultant with the Association of Bridal Consultants. This association sets the standard for wedding direction worldwide.

Bob Poppell

Bob came into the business when Fran needed additional assistance for a large wedding. He agreed to help reluctantly and with the understanding that this would be the only one. As Fran was preparing for the next wedding, however, Bob sheepishly asked if he would have any duties on that day. For twelve years now, he’s been a natural to instruct the groom and groomsmen in their duties while keeping them relaxed.

Leigh Brannan

Because of her great interest in weddings and social protocol, Leigh began working with A Friend of the Bride over three years ago. She is developing an expertise in directing and coordinating with Fran as her mentor. Using her skills as a graphic artist, she developed the logo for A Friend of the Bride.
